Tony purchased a set of junior congas and began to jam with long time friend John McIntyre. Tony was invited to a session with Davey Fields and they were so impressed they invited Tony to join the band. Tony and John continued playing together through the years creating the powerful rhythm section that is Donnie Root and the Hoots and Moonflower. Some of Tony's influences are Bob Marley and Prince and his favorite instrument is Latin Percussion congas. Tony played in concert with the Outlaws, 38 Special and Canned Heat. He's played on many different recordings and jingles.
